The jewel in the crown of the estate’s two Championship courses is the spectacular Arden course, host to International tour events such as The English Open. This resort offers every luxury you would associate with a top International venue and we strongly recommend a visit here. The Aylesford resort course measures 6,525 yards and presents a varied and enjoyable challenge as a preparation to playing the Championship course. Since having undergone development last summer this course has received very favourable reviews.
If you intend to stay for 2-3 days or have the energy to play two rounds in one day this course is the perfect foil to the Arden. The awesome 7,213-yard Arden Championship course offers a truly memorable experience, testing golfers of all abilities as it meanders through spectacular parkland, guarded by cavernous bunkers, deep rough, ancient oak trees and natural lakes. This course favours the big hitter but only if you are straight, as trouble awaits loose shots. If you are an average but accurate hitter you should score well around this course, providing your short game is up to scratch, as the greens are lightening quick and require a delicate touch. The signature, 18th hole measures 202 yards, overlooking fishing lakes and the resort, ensures that you don’t lower your guard until you’ve holed out on the final green.
