Druids Glen

It is easy to see why Druids Glen is known as the ‘Augusta of Europe’. Opened in 1995, this course has hosted major tournaments from the outset and was awarded the title of ‘European course of the year’ in 2000. This beautifully manicured course is set against a breathtaking backdrop of flora and fauna, woven through the forest and streams of the glen, combining an amazing golf experience with a haven for local wildlife. This superbly designed course, is a ‘must play’ when you visit Ireland. The Druids Heath is another tour-standard course combining links, heathland and parkland style. Rolling fairways, lakes, trees, natural rock, streams, gorse and undulating greens welcome you as does the testing sea breeze. The 12th to 15th holes are the “Amen Corner” of Druids heath with the former being seen as one of the great par 4’s in world golf and the latter requiring pinpoint accuracy.
